Almost all of the event apps have one big flaw in common – they lack interaction between event hosts and potential guests. In their core, these platforms are ticket services, rather than event markets. That said, Chevent creates a digital environment apt of filling the gap in user engagement.
Easy-to-use interface leads visitors (guests) through the map of events for every taste and desire and allows user to rate, discuss and register or schedule attendance in several clicks.

What Cadabra brought to the table with Chevent was a deeper understanding of event-goers’ psychology. And one of the prime feature for any user in attempt of finding an event for his leisure is ratings and reviews. While reviews are not a matter of complex UX solutions, rating system appeared to be the key priority. And that’s where our designers decided to stick to a simple, classic and effective decision – emojis.
These emotions reflect the very idea behind any event – to leave impression. Every ambassador’s rating consists of the emojis he receives after each of his events. Displayed in the profile, this feature gives an eloquent review.
Overall gamification our designers were so keen to implement, is meant to create a motivation both for host and visitor. Gaining points and unlocking achievements turns a simple search-and-find app into a quest. This way global goals are supported by complementary ones that increase user engagement.
After several stages of research our UX designers set a system of profile development: from beginner to professional. Whether we’re talking about party monster or conference hosts – everyone has a chance to improve himself in Chevent.
UX Flow User Experience
In terms of UX, our team started with essential features for the main goal of the app. We avoided mistakes and flaws of competitors by cutting the number of screens to the essentially required and features to those bound to become users’ toolkit. Real-time schedule and update, verification, booking and means of user’s interaction created a balanced UX design.
Color palette is driven by calm and breezy tones, to catch the eye of user without overloading and give a moderate pace for app flow.
Our designers chose next fonts to make Chevent app UI elegant and light: SF Compact Text for headings and SF UI Text for body.
